I DO NOT condone cracking, but it is impossible to stop. The best weapon against it is to try and be one step ahead of the crackers. These are a few links I have found to contain useful and interesting information - which any serious system admin people should know about and have access to.
The reason I used the term cracker, is that hackers sometimes get tarred with the same brush, and they shouldn't be. Hackers are helpful and useful, they write useful code, for example there are alot of hackers working on Linux, and it benefits us all. Crackers on the other hand are just trying to gain access to systems with the intent on doing damage, in one form or another.

- Asynchronous Communication, Wait-Free Communication & Atomicity
Having seen the Asynchronous Bibliography by Ad Peeters, I thought it was such a good idea that I started
the atomic bibliography, which includes references to papers and articles on Asynchronous Communications
and Atomicity. The list is in BibTeX format.
Please use this freely, leaving the header in tact!
If you know of any references which should be included, or have problems with the file, or any comments, suggestions etc then
please email me.
